From labor to leverage: Ivy's journey
Growing up, I watched my mother raise our family as a single parent, and I learned early that hard work was a part of survival. I carried that mindset into adulthood—raising five children, building a successful 30+ year career in healthcare, and always exploring entrepreneurship along the way.
But eventually, I had a realization: working hard and earning a good income were not the same as building wealth and creating a legacy. I had mastered labor. I needed to learn leverage.
That realization changed the way I thought about income, investing, and my future. Today, my focus is on my children, my grandchildren, and the legacy I am intentionally building. I use my story, my experiences, and the lessons I've learned to encourage everyday people to think differently about income, investing, and what's possible for their lives and their future.
Expertise born from real-life experience
I bring more than 30 years of experience across healthcare revenue cycle, coding, leadership, and business operations. As a healthcare executive, certified coding professional, educator, and entrepreneur, I have led teams, consulted with organizations, built businesses, and navigated both success and failure.
My greatest strength is taking complex information and making it understandable and actionable for everyday people. I lead from real-life experience, not theory. My career and entrepreneurial journey have taught me the power of hard work, resilience, reinvention, and learning how to move from labor to leverage.
Building confidence and a lasting legacy
I want people to walk away seeing possibilities they may not have considered before. My goal is to build confidence, spark curiosity, and help everyday people understand the power of education, ownership, and leverage.
I believe change begins when we challenge the way we've always thought and give ourselves permission to explore something different. Whether in business, healthcare, leadership, or financial education, I want people to feel informed, empowered, and ready to make intentional decisions about what comes next.
